London City Lionesses have signed 19-year-old defender Maddi Wilde on a season-long loan from Bristol City.
The right-back made 15 appearances for the Robins last season, helping them secure promotion back to the Barclays Women’s Super League.
Wilde told londoncitylionesses.com:“I heard about the new set-up at K Sports [Cobdown] and it really made me want to come here.
“I know what London City is trying to achieve and I’m looking forward to trying to help the team push towards that.”
Assistant Coach Nicola Williams commented: “Maddi had a very competitive season with Bristol City last year, so we expect her to come across and bring that experience of promotion this season. With that, she’s the kind of person we want on board
