London Bees 3-3 Chelsea (aet, London Bees won 4-2 on penalties)
London Bees pulled off a dramatic and amazing victory over Chelsea, despite going behind to the only goal of the first half, scored in spectacular style from 25 yards by Beth England.
Gilly Flaherty’s unfortunate own goal levelled the scores when Evdokia Popadinova’s effort came back off keeper Fran Kitching, then the visitors had Niamh Fahey sent off for bringing down Jo Wilson.
The Bees went 2-1 up through Wilson, before Millie Bright scored in the dying seconds from Gemma Davison’s corner.
England added her second of the game with a header in extra-time but Deanna Cooper forced home a late equaliser and sent the tie to a penalty shoot-out.
Both Karen Carney and Ji So-Yun missed from the spot for Chelsea, with Merrick Will converting the decider.
Everton 0-1 Liverpool
Over 1,000 fans turned out for the Merseyside derby which saw Liverpool record a narrow victory.
Everton’s Chloe Kelly was denied brilliantly by Reds keeper Siobahn Chamberlain and Kirstie Levell stopped Katie Longhurst with a superb one-handed save.
Dan Turner headed into her own net to give Liverpool the advantage just seconds before the interval and was later forced off due to an injury, with her replacement Ellie Stewart then shown a straight red card for a challenge on Shanice Van De Sanden in the 70th minute.
Claudia Walker fired just wide in the last couple of minutes, as she threatened to take her former side to extra-time.
Reading 1-3 Arsenal
The second match of the double-header at The Hive saw Arsenal come safely through against Reading to reach the quarter-finals.
Royals’ keeper Mary Earps made three quick saves in the first half, twice denying Danielle van Donk before keeping out Katie McCabe.
But a minute after the restart, Vicky Losada poked the Gunners in front and 3 minutes later van Donk was brought down in the box and Fara Williams scored the penalty.
Williams lobbed in the third on 65 minutes, with Emma Follis quickly pulling a goal back with a powerful strike.
Emma Byrne made a couple of important late saves to deny Jade Boho-Sayo and Kayleigh Hines.

Aston Villa 0-8 Manchester City
Manchester City scored three times in the first 18 minutes, as they eased to a big victory at Aston Villa.
Nikita Parris netted an early penalty when Elisha N’Dow was penalised for handball and Chloe Jones also handled a Jane Ross strike on 17 minutes, which brought a red card and a successful spot-kick for the Scotland forward.
Moments later and Parris made it 3-0 with a volley from Tessel Middag’s cross, with the favour returned on 32 minutes after Sarah Mayling denied Ross.
Parris completed her hat-trick just before the hour mark from Megan Campbell’s ball, with Daphne Corboz then blasting home and added time goals coming from Jill Scott and Ross.
Sheffield FC 2-0 Bristol City
Sheffield FC repeated their league scoreline over Bristol City, who also failed to beat the Yorkshire side on their own ground this season.
There were no goals by the break but Hannah Reid stopped a fierce drive from the hosts’ Kirsty Hanson, while Carla Ward’s crucial tackle prevented Millie Farrow firing on goal.
Farrow had an effort ruled out for offside 5 minutes after the restart but by the hour mark it was Sheffield FC who struck, Emma Johnson playing in Jodie Michalska to net.
Michalska soon had a goal of her own crossed off but with 9 minutes left, Johnson’s corner was headed down and in by Chelsea Flanagan.
