Liverpool FC Women have completed the loan signing of left-sided full-back Alejandra Bernabe from Chelsea for the remainder of the campaign.
She made her senior debut for Spain in November 2022 and was in her country’s side that won the U-17 European Championship.
Joining Chelsea in the summer of 2023 from Atletico Madrid, she spent a season out on loan at Real Sociedad.
She has Champions League experience with Sociedad and Atletico Madrid, having begun in the Spanish top-flight with Madrid CFF.
Bernabe told Liverpoolfc.com: “It’s a pleasure to be here. I know that this is a big club and also I hear the love from outside about this big club, so it’s a pleasure to be coming here.
“I’m so happy and I’m so excited. I’m looking forward to meeting all of the supporters and I will give 100 per cent always.”
