Liverpool Feds Unveil New Manager

The Feds say that Fran is a UEFA qualified football coach and manager with over 15 years experience in coaching, the last six seasons in the English Premier League.

The Spaniard was formerly at Southampton FC as First team Technical Coach and was brought by Ronald Koeman last July to Everton FC as First Team Coaching Assistant.

Fran has real passion for women’s football and he is a coach at WSL 2 Everton and was last season’s First Team Manager at Southampton Women’s FC, when the team won promotion to the Southern League Premier Division as champions.

Fran brings a huge amount of experience and knowledge with him, having worked alongside top Managers such Koeman, Mauricio Pochettino, Nigel Adkins and Sammy Lee.

Leanne Duffy will remain as assistant manager and will work alongside Fran in what looks to be exciting times ahead for the club.

When asked about his new role, Fran said:

“I am very happy to have joined Liverpool Feds, the Club has shown a great belief in me and I can’t wait to start working with the team.

“The Club’s got great ambitions of taking this team to the Women’s Premier Northern Division and so do I. It is a very exciting challenge”.
