Liverpool announce ‘first-of-its-kind’ deal with Tommy Hilfiger

Liverpool and Tommy Hilfiger have come together to create a first-of-its-kind partnership.

Both the men and the women’s team are set to be represented by the popular fashion brand.

The club will wear clothing branded by Tommy Hilfiger at training and on matchdays.

Liverpool backroom staff will also be included in the partnership, as the club will represent the American brand everywhere.

There will be various releases throughout the season that will give Liverpool fans a chance to get their hands on top of the range items from the collection.

Tommy Hilfiger announced the partnership in a very unique way. The brand unveiled a flag covering the whole pitch at Anfield with a Liverpool badge front and centre.

When the deal was officially confirmed on Thursday morning Tommy Hilfiger posted a picture of Liverpool players. Players from both the men and women’s team posed in the new clothing line.

Liverpool club captain Virgil Van Dijk spoke after the deal was confirmed. The Dutchman seemed thrilled about the new partnership, saying: “It’s great to see our LFC club partnership with Tommy Hilfiger go live.

“We as players are excited to see the collaboration come to life, bringing together fashion, culture and heritage.”

Tommy Hilfiger ‘inspired’ by Liverpool

The Tommy Hilfiger deal isn’t just a landmark partnership for Liverpool.

Hilfiger himself discussed the deal and he was clearly proud to announce the move with a club rich in heritage.

“For my entire career I’ve been inspired by sports icons, stories and uniforms,” he said. “I am drawn to teams with deep fan heritage and value-driven storytelling, and Liverpool Football Club has an unmatched history shaped by its people – their belief, resilience and pride.

“I’m excited to work with the players and club staff who inspire a global fan base to dream through their uncompromising pursuit of greatness.”
