The match on Friday ended 2-2 and today’s match was played in a similar way.
Denmark dominated the first period and scored early on but in the second half Scotland came into their own, going close a number of times before Kim Little slotted a penalty to secure the draw.
Anna Signeul made six changes to the side from the last match with Shannon Lynn, Rachel Corsie, Jo Love, Erin Cuthbert, Lizzie Arnot and Lisa Evans starting.
As was the case in the match three days before, Scotland lost an early goal which put them on the back-foot immediately.
A corner was swung in from the right and caught Frankie Brown off guard with the ball hitting her and ending up in the net.
Denmark were then in the ascendency and went close on a number of occasions before the break.
At half-time, Jenny Beattie, Leanne Crichton and Christie Murray came on and made an instant impact with Scotland playing a higher tempo and putting pressure on Denmark.
Kim Little and Jane Ross both came close within seconds of each other but their shots were well blocked by a well drilled Denmark defence.
After 75 minutes, Christie Murray saw a shot blocked by the hands of a Danish defender and Kim Little stepped up to slot home the penalty, her 47th goal for Scotland.
Shannon Lynn had an impressive game and was called into action shortly after when she was forced to pull off a point blank save.
The match wasn’t as high paced as Friday but both will act as ideal preparation for the Cyprus Cup in March where Scotland will play New Zealand, Korea Republic, Austria.
Afterwards, goalscorer Kim Little said: “We conceded off our own error which was disappointing but we didn’t concede from open play which is a bonus.
“We looked fairly strong and they didn’t have too many chances.
“We progressed throughout the game and finished better than Denmark. It was a shame we couldn’t get another goal to win but overall both games have been good for us.
“At the start of the last two games, tactically we haven’t felt right and we haven’t got going. That is something we need to work on as we do get there in the end but we just need to start stronger.
“It’s great for Scotland to be in the Euros in the summer for the first time so it’s a bit different for all of us as at this time of the year we’re usually playing friendlies or qualifiers.
“Everyone has upped their game and we’re looking in the best physical condition we’ve ever been. We’ve still got six months to get better so that is exciting.”
In the last game Erin Cuthbert was a stand-out and she is a talent that excites Little.
The Arsenal midfielders said: “We’ve got several young players who maybe don’t have the experience yet, but definitely have the talent.
“Erin showed her technical ability in the last game with her goal and she just needs to keep progressing, keep getting experience and improving her conditioning and technical ability. She and other younger players can contribute massively to the team as we move into the summer.”
