England came from behind to defeat the Netherlands 5-1 in a Friday evening friendly in front of nearly 20,000 at Elland Road.

Lieke Martens had been allowed to win a header in the box to put the ball beyond the reach of Mary Earps, the assist from the corner coming from Sherida Spitse on her 200th cap.

The Lionesses were level when Lucy Bronze aimed a cross to the far post but it flew into the far corner of the net.

A turning point came when Spitse hit the post from the penalty spot and England went straight down the other end to score, Lauren Hemp setting up Beth Mead to find the net.
