The Lincolnshire County Women’s League has seen a doubling in the number of its teams since their 2017 spring competition.
Six teams competed in their Winter League, Birchwood Belles dropping out in the spring but now returning for the full 2017-18 campaign, along with some newcomers taking the total to ten teams.
North Lindum Hawks won both the seasonal competitions and took promotion to the East Midlands League, where they will play under the name of Hykeham Town.
Appleby Frodingham are back after a couple of seasons absence, while new in the league are Barton Rangers, Boston United, Cleethorpes Town and North Kesteven-based Greenbank.
Opening Fixtures for 10th September:
Birchwood Belles v Appleby Frodingham (Birchwood Leisure Centre)
Cleethorpes Town v Boston United (Linden Homes Club)
Gainsborough v HBW United (Marshalls Sports Ground)
Greenbank v Barton Rangers (North Kesteven Sports Centre)
Louth Old Boys LFC v Healing Hotspurs (London Road)
