Egle Trezzi got the only goal of the game against bottom of the table Herne Bay, which took Orient above London Corinthians to become champions with two games to spare.
Dropping only four points to date, Orient were first denied a victory on 29th Janaury by Crawley Wasps in a 3-3 draw and then they lost 5-2 at London Corinthians a week later.
Otherwise it has been a very impressive season for the O’s and the only other side to have defeated them is Premier League Southern Division champions Spurs. There was just the one goal between them in the SSE FA Cup tie and Tottenham won the Capital Senior Cup clash 2-0.
The O’s can yet complete the double, as they take on Crawley Wasps in the League Cup Final at Maidstone United FC on Sunday 14th May.
Before then they visit Carshalton Athletic at the War Memorial Sports Ground this Sunday and then host Fulham FC Foundation on 7th May.
