Crystal Palace have brought England U-19 international midfielder Lexi Potter back from Chelsea for a second season-long loan.

She made 21 appearances for Palace in all competitions last term, helping them secure promotion to the Barclays Women’s Super League.

Potter told cpfc.co.uk: “I’m really happy, really excited, and really looking forward to it. I had a really good season with the girls last year, so I’m looking forward to getting going again.”

Head of Women’s Football Grace Williams added: “It’s brilliant to welcome Lexi to Crystal Palace for a second season.

“We saw what a fantastic impact Lexi made here last year, and we look forward to working towards and achieving our goals together again, this time in the WSL.”
