Leicester City have signed 23-year-old goalkeeper Janina Leitzig from Bayern Munich on loan until the end of the season.
Leitzig spent eight successful years with TSG 1899 Hoffenheim before joining Bayern Munich, with whom she has UEFA Women’s Champions League experience.
The German youth international told LCFC.com: “It feels good to be here. The facilities are great. I’m really excited to train, I’m excited for the upcoming games and excited to be part of this team.
“I have lots of experience in Germany and I hope that will be useful here in England. I have watched some games – the league is very physical and the quality is good too.”
