Leicester City have signed Australian international Courtney Nevin on loan from Hammarby until the end of the season.
Nevin made 22 league appearances for Hammarby – scoring three goals in helping them finish fifth, after joining from Western Sydney Wanderers.
The 20-year-old full-back has ten caps for Australia, having made her senior debut in June 2021.
Speaking to LCFC TV, Nevin said: “It feels really good to be here. Leicester City have so much potential, and I’m excited to get stuck in and work hard for this team.
“The Swedish league is very similar to the WSL. It’s very physical, very technical, and hopefully I can bring those attributes to the team and help get some more points on the table.”
