Leicester City have signed 23-year-old Australia international striker Remy Siemsen after her departure from Sydney FC.

Remy joins the Foxes following a third spell with Australian A-League outfit Sydney FC, where she made her final appearance for the club on Christmas Eve.

Speaking to LCFC.com, Siemsen said: “To be joining such a prestigious club is exciting for myself and my family. We’ve all grown up watching English football, and being able to come across and play with a club like Leicester City is dream come true.”

The forward made her debut for Australia against Brazil in October 2021 and has since gained four more caps.

Siemsen has played club football abroad for California Storm and AIK, making 21 appearances for the latter during the 2022 Swedish top-flight campaign.
