Leicester City have completed the permanent signing of Australian international Courtney Nevin after a six-month loan spell from from Hammarby.
The 21-year-old defender – who has 20 caps for her country – made 12 appearances in all competitions for the Foxes, registering four assists in helping keep Willie Kirk’s side in the BWSL.
Speaking to LCFC.com, Nevin said: “It’s great to have the opportunity to stay at LCFC Women. It’s such an exciting time to be part of the Club. We’ve got a fantastic squad, wonderful facilities and the chance to continue building on the success we had in the second half of last season.
“Since I joined, I’ve had a chance to see first-hand how much potential the club and the squad has. The league is so competitive, but we’ve shown that we have what it takes to compete, so I’m really excited to be part of that and look forward to seeing what we can achieve together.”
