Leicester City have brought back Asmita Ale from Spurs on a permanent basis, following her successful loan spell last season.

The 22-year-old, who has been capped by England at U-17, U-18 and U-19 levels youth international, signed a three-year-deal.

She played over 30 times for Tottenham and prior to that made 50 appearances for Aston Villa.

Speaking to LCFC.com, Ale said: “I am super pleased to be staying at the club and it was an easy decision for me. There is so much opportunity to keep growing here and game-time is important at my age.

“I am already looking forward to next season. I can’t wait to be back out there with the team and show the fans what I can do. The club is constantly growing, we have great ambition and I want to be part of that journey.”
