Leicester City FC Women have signed 23-year-old defensive midfielder Aimee Palmer on a one-year contract from Bristol City.
The former Manchester United and Sheffield United player helped Bristol City win the Barclays Women’s Championship, as she did earlier with the Red Devils.
Palmer has currently represented England up to U-21 level.
Speaking to LCFC.com, Palmer said: “I am delighted to have got the move over the line. My ambitions match those of the club so it’s great to finally be here.
“I’ve been around the group for a few days now and the culture fits with me very well. I’m excited to put the shirt on for the first time and get going.”
