Reading Director of Women’s Football and Manager Kelly Chambers will leave the club with the Royals set to go part-time.

Chambers captained Reading until her playing career was ended after an anterior cruciate ligament injury in 2012.

After her retirement, Chambers was appointed the Royals Director of Women’s and Girls’ football, and in 2015 led Reading into WSL 1.

Chambers helped keep the Royals in the top flight for eight years, including a best-ever finish of fourth in the 2017/18 WSL season with 32 points from 18 games.
