West Ham United’s Republic of Ireland international midfielder Jess Ziu has committed her future to the Hammers.

Ziu told West Ham TV: “Because of the knee injury that I sustained in my first year at the club, it feels like I’m only just getting started in a West Ham shirt. But I’m more determined than ever before and I’m looking forward to coming back for pre-season and working hard to show what I can do in the seasons to come.”

Head coach Rehanne Skinner told “I am delighted that we have extended Jess’ contract.

“Jess is an exciting player who adds energy and technical qualities to our play, in and out of possession.

“In the second half of last season, everyone started to get a glimpse of Jess’ capabilities following a long-term injury. I am looking forward to seeing her continue to progress in a West Ham shirt over the coming years.”
