Ipswich Town had edged Lowestoft Town 3-2 in both their Premier League meetings this season and were soon set on their way to a more convincing scoreline, as Amy Howlett netted in the 6th minute.
Hollie Clement was denied by the bar but Lindsay Cooper did double the lead by half-time.
It was 3-0 through Sophie Welton on 54 minutes, with Lowestoft then coming close to a goal back but for the crossbar.
Natasha Thomas made quite sure of victory by getting Ipswich’s fourth with 20 minutes left and then Zoe Cossey added the fifth.
