When the finalists met in the group stage the game ended goalless but this time the deadlock was broken after only 12 minutes, as Dangmei Grace put India ahead against Bangladesh.
But Bangladesh fought back and went in at the break on level terms, following Sirat Jahan Shopna’s equaliser past West Ham’s Aditi Chauhan on 40 minutes.
However, India made it 18 wins in their 19-game unbeaten run in the tournament, scoring twice midway through the second half.
Bala Devi won a penalty just after the hour mark and Indian Player of the Year Sasmita Malik converted it, with Indumathi Kathiresan completing the scoring at 3-1 shortly afterwards.
