Erin Husband and Abby Robinson have collected the October 2024/25 Scottish Women’s Premier League Player of the Month awards, supported by Park’s Motor Group.
Husband wins the award in her first full season with Heart of Midlothian. The 16-year-old defender has played 11 games this season, playing the full 90 minutes in nine matches and keeping a clean sheet in seven.
The Jambos had an exceptional October as they won all three of their ScottishPower Women’s Premier League matches without conceding. Husband played in all three games and was only subbed off in the 86th minute in their 3-0 win over Montrose.
October included a 1-0 win over reigning champions Celtic which kept Hearts within touching distance of the top spot in the table. Eva Olid’s side are currently third, behind Rangers on goal difference and just a point behind leaders Glasgow City.
In SWPL 2, Abby Robinson wins the award for the first time after previously being nominated three times during the 2022/23 season for May 2023, January 2023, and August 2022.
The midfielder scored twice and provided an assist as Kilmarnock won all three games in the month. This included an 8-1 win over rivals Ayr United and revenge over Rossvale with a 4-1 victory at home.
Killie are currently 2nd in ScottishPower Women’s Premier League 2, eight points behind Hamilton Academical in the fight for the promotion spot in 2024/25.
