How much money England players will get if they win Euro 2025
England aren’t just chasing continental glory this weekend, there’s a substantial financial reward waiting for them too.
UEFA previously confirmed a record-breaking prize money pot for Women’s Euro 2025.
If the Lionesses go all the way and beat Spain in Basel, then the total payout will be €5m (£4.33m).
Players will then receive a share of the prize money, with UEFA stating that national associations must allocate between 30% and 40% of their prize money to its players.
They also advise that players who make the knockout rounds should receive between 35% and 40%. If England win and receive £4.33m then they would receive between £1.3m and £1.73m.
Split among the 23 players this would be in the sum of £56,500 to £75,600 per player.
Women’s Euro 2025 prize money breakdown
All 16 teams who qualify for the tournament receive a €1.8m (£1.5m) participation fee. That’s the guaranteed base before a ball is even kicked.
Then in the group stage each team will receive £85,000 per win and around £42,500 for a draw.
The Lionesses’ total fund will have been cut due to their 2-1 defeat to France in the opening group stage.

How much money do clubs receive?
Payments are allocated to compensate European clubs who have had players selected for international duty at Euro 2025.
As per UEFA, the total club benefits package will increase from €4.5m (£3.8m) in 2022 to €9m (£7.6m) this year.
The total is calculated according to the number of days that a player was released for the tournament.
So the minimum amount per player a club will receive is €13,140 (£11,193), which applies for players whose national team is eliminated in the group stage.
