Fylde Manager Luke Swindlehurst spoke of his delight at the capture of the FA Premier League Northern Division’s top goal scorer.
“It’s a fantastic signing for us and one I’m very proud of. I’ve been in regular contact with Emily and its great news we have managed to bring her into the squad at the beginning of preseason.
“Emily has got plenty of time to get fully integrated into the team before the season starts and we can work on a number of different options from an attacking point of view. She is a proven goal scorer and is the right kind of character as well, a winner and very passionate with bags of experience, which is invaluable.”
Heckler commented’ “I’m really looking forward to the new season and fresh challenge with Fylde. I’ve been really impressed with the plans for the future and having spoke to the manager I’m confident we will have a good season ahead of us. I will be working very hard with the rest of the girls to make sure we are fully prepared for the first game in August.”
