Wales were 5-0 winners over Greece in a FIFA Women’s World Cup qualifier ahead of Tuesday’s massive clash in France.

Sophie Ingle fired Wales into a sixth-minute lead from a Jess Fishlock pass and Kayleigh Green got the second after blocking keeper Anthi Papakonstantinou’s attempted clearance from a short backpass.

Green was again involved when passing to Ceri Holland, whose shot was only helped into the net by the keeper.

Holland curled home the fourth goal ten minutes after the restart and Natasha Harding completed the scoring with a header from a Rhiannon Roberts cross midway through the half.

Wales have now won four of their five group games and sit three points ahead of third-placed Slovenia before facing the leaders next week, with France boasting five straight victories.
