Saturday 26th November 2016
FA GIRLS’ YOUTH CUP 2ND ROUND

Aston Villa 4-0 Stoke City
Birmingham City 1-0 Everton
Chelsea 1-0 Oxford United
Leicester City 0-3 Arsenal
Liverpool 3-0 Blackburn Rovers
Millwall Lionesses 2-0 Essex FA
Sunderland 1-1 York (Sunderland won 4-3 on pens)
Teesside Sport 3-1 Durham

Lauren James bagged a brace and Lechante Paul the Gunners’ other goal as hosts Leicester City were defeated 3-0.

Michelle Brogden netted 13 minutes from time for Sunderland in their tie with York, which then went to penalties. Rachel Bell, Jael Anderson, Emily Hutchinson and Sharna Wilkinson converted as the Black Cats went through 4-3 in the shoot-out.

Beaten semi-finalists last season, Liverpool are again into the last eight after seeing off Blackburn Rovers with three unanswered goals.

Stoke City reached the last eight in 2015-16 but fell short of that achievement after going down 4-0 at Aston Villa.

There was only one goal in it as Birmingham City accounted for Everton, likewise with Chelsea edging past Oxford United to also book their quarter-final berth.

Lucy Fitzgerald and Kara Fordjour were on target as Millwall ran out 2-0 victors over Essex FA.

Teesside Sport eliminated Durham by three goals to one in the all North-East clash.
