
Glasgow City went top of the ScottishPower Women’s Premier League on Friday but Hibernian and Rangers both climbed back above them on Sunday.

Glasgow City won 2-1 away to Celtic on Friday, with an 86th-minute deflected effort from Kimberley Smit. Brenna Lovera had earlier put City ahead from a tight angle, Saoirse Noonan levelling for the Hoops.
Hibernian quickly went top again, Rosie Livingstone, Michaela McAlonie and Kirsty Morrison on target at Motherwell, to see them lead by two points.
Brogan Hay and Rio Hardy were both at the double as Rangers saw off Hearts 4-0, to go back up to second and a point short of Hibs.

Partick Thistle 1-2 Aberdeen
Spartans 3-2 Montrose
Dundee United 2-3 Queen’s Park
Aberdeen won at Partick where Francesca Ogilivie’s opener was cancelled out by Thistle’s Carla Boyce but Kerry Beattie bagged the winner, to see the Dons take seventh place from the Jags.

Spartans came from two down to edge Montrose 3-2, stepping six points clear of them. Sarah Clelland scored in both nets in the first half hour, Zara Andrews and Hannah Jordan then turning the match in the hosts’ favour.
Queen’s Park pulled off a stunning late comeback in the basement battle at Dundee United, the basement side having led through a Freya Brien penalty and Sophie Timlin effort direct from a corner. The Spiders’ Rosie McQuillan replied on 82 minutes and in added time both Abby Callaghan and Sophie Rutherford netted for the visitors.

Livingston 2-3 Hamilton Academical
Boroughmuir Thistle 2-0 Rossvale
St Johnstone 3-1 Ayr United
Gartcairn 0-0 Kilmarnock
Hamilton extended their lead at the top to eight points when winning 3-2 at Livingston thanks to a late Sophie Townsley goal, while second-placed Kilmarnock were held 0-0 at Gartcairn.
Boroughmuir Thistle beat Rossvale to move within three points of Killie, Louise Mason and Caitlin Lynch getting first-half goals.
St Johnstone saw off basement side Ayr United, aided by Olivia Hurrell’s brace.
