Hearts Women up to third place, Killie cruise to derby victory

Hearts went third in the ScottishPower Women’s Premier League, Kilmarnock overcame new local SWPL 2 rivals Ayr United. 

Aberdeen 0-5 Glasgow City
Dundee United 1-2 Spartans
Hibernian 5-1 Montrose
Partick Thistle 0-3 Hearts
Rangers 2-0 Motherwell

Hearts scored three times without reply at Partick, Glasgow City also went above Celtic – who have a game in hand on all those above them, defeating Aberdeen 5-0. Hibernian are within a point of the Hoops having sent Montrose to a 5-1 loss, despite having been pegged back at 1-1. Rangers stay top after a 2-0 result against Motherwell, Katie Wilkinson and Lizzie Arnot netting in the second half. Spartans climbed three points clear of danger when winning at basement side Dundee United, where Hannah Jordan bagged a brace.

Gartcairn 3-2 Boroughmuir Thistle
Livingston 2-0 St Johnstone
Rossvale 0-3 Hamilton Academical

Hamilton stayed top by five points with three goals at Rossvale, Kilmarnock ran out 8-1 winners at Ayr and remain a point ahead of Livingston who defeated St Johnstone. Gartcairn beat fourth-placed Boroughmuir to go level on points with them.
