Hall Handed Assistant Manager / GK Coach Roles

Leanne Hall retired from her playing career as a goalkeeper in 2012 with 24 senior England international caps and having played in three FA Cup Finals, two League Cup Finals and in one UEFA Champions League campaign.

She holds the UEFA A Licence in both outfield and goalkeeping, has the FA Advanced Youth Award and is also an England Youth Goalkeeping Coach.

Newly-appointed First Team Manager, Marc Skinner, told birminghamcityladiesfc.co.uk “I am thoroughly delighted to welcome Leanne to the staff team at BCLFC. I felt it was important to have a strong character who has the leadership qualities to support the team and myself on this exciting journey. Leanne has vast elite playing experiences and this coupled with international and domestic coaching honours in both female and male environments she will help the team to strive towards our ambitions. I know the players will gain so much from the wealth of knowledge and experience but also importantly Leanne will be a strong female role model to which the players can connect – we both can’t wait to get started”.

Hall said of her appointment “I am delighted to come on board and be part of an ambitious structure and club. I believe the club has a good blend of home grown talent, youth and experienced players that provide the club with a great platform to build on recent success. Having met with the club and been impressed with its drive, passion and desire to develop holistic players I can’t wait to start this exciting challenge and share my knowledge and experience on this journey”.
