Joining Guiseley’s Goalkeeping Coach, Tim Griffith, are Stephanie Barraclough, Beth Seasman and Georgia ‘Bob’ Wattam.
The Vixens report on their trio of new keepers, saying;
Barraclough joins as the elder of the three, bringing a vast level of enthusiasm and vocal presence to the back line. She joins from Middlesborough, having also represented the armed forces.
Seasman comes in having spent last season at Sheffield FC and enjoying a stint with Manchester City previously. A methodical thinker, she brings a modern approach using both her hands and feet well
Wattam – who turns 18 next week – has signed from Man City, having gained her education at Doncaster Belles before becoming a driving force in Leeds hard-fought fifth place finish last season. A rambunctious persona between the sticks, she has great attitude to her craft.
Tim Griffith commented; “The new signings come from various levels of their career, from the experienced Steph, to the young up and coming Bob and Beth, each having their own strength as a modern keeper. A strong keepers’ union is forming and it’s fantastic to see them progressing together and learning from each other. Plenty of talent coming this way as they develop!”
