A final day win for Glasgow City Development ensured they finished top of Scottish Women’s League Division 2 Central, leaving Airdrie to settle for the runners-up spot.

Glasgow City Development clinched the SWFL Division 2 Central title by winning 3-0 at Hamilton Academical U-23s. It saw them finish with 21 wins from 22 games, 2 points better off than Airdrie who did all they could on the day, ending with a 5-0 victory at Murieston United.

Motherwell Development pipped Stenhousemuir to fifth place on goal-difference with a 2-0 result against Hawick United, Glasgow Girls Development ran out 7-2 winners at Broxburn Athletic and basement side East Kilbride went down 11-0 at home to Cumbernauld Colts Yellows.

The only other action on the last day of the SWFL season came in Division 1 North, where Dunfermline Athletic took fourth place from Cove Rangers on goal-difference by beating mid-table Buchan 5-1.
