Glasgow City and Celtic Women draw SWPL top-two clash

Glasgow City and Celtic drew their ScottishPower Women’s Premier League top-of-the-table clash 2-2 in front of a crowd of almost 1,000.

The result kept City top on goal difference and put both sides three points ahead of Rangers and Hibernian, who each now have a game in hand in a thrilling four-way title race.

Amy Gallacher fired Celtic in front in the very first minute, Amy Muir hitting the equaliser as a deflection help beat goalkeeper Kelsey Daugherty.

City soon had turned the match in their favour, Nicole Kozlova lashing them into a 2-1 interval lead but Maria McAneny levelled the match with another impressive finish.
