Germany and Denmark team news
The Germany team suffered a huge setback in their matchday one win at Euro 2025, with Giulia Gwinn ruled out for the rest of the tournament after the captain suffered a ligament injury.
It is likely that Carlotte Wamser will deputise for her captain at right back for the remainder of the tournament after coming off the bench for Gwinn against Poland.
Denmark suffered no injuries in their loss to Sweden, but manager Andrée Jeglertz may choose to make some changes with qualification on the line.
Both Josefine Hasbo and Signe Bruun both came on for half an hour against Sweden and could earn a first start at the tournament.
Germany Predicted Lineup: Berger; Wamser, Minge, Knaak, Linder; Senss, Nusken; Brand, Dallmann, Buhl; Schuller
Denmark Predicted Lineup: Ostergaard; Faerge, Ballisager, Veje; Thogersen, Hasbo, Snerle, S. Holmgaard; Thomsen; Bruun, Harder
Germany vs Denmark prediction
Matchday one went as smoothly as Germany would have hoped last week and after their easy 2-0 win against Poland, they are in a prime position to qualify for the quarter-finals yet again.
A win on Tuesday for the eight-time Euros champions would see them qualify for the knockout stages but in what is a fairly easy group, Germany will be hoping to qualify as the top team in Group C.
Lea Schuller made it five goals in her last five games for Germany with her finish against Poland and she will yet again provide a threat against Denmark this week.

There is almost no chance that Denmark will qualify for the knockouts if they lose to Germany on Tuesday, making it a must-win game against one of the best teams at Euro 2025.
Almost nothing separated the Danish from their opponents in the first game of Group C but Sweden were able to steal a result with a second half winner from Filippa Angeldal.
Denmark managed four shots on target against Sweden but failed to convert any of their attempts which is something that they will need to improve on against Germany who will punish mistakes.
Germany vs Denmark prediction: Germany 3-0 Denmark – 17/2

Germany vs Denmark Betting tips
- Germany vs Denmark betting tip 1: Germany to win to nil @ 7/5
There was no stopping Germany in their first game at the Euros against Poland and we believe they may be in for another dominant display when they come up against Denmark this week.
With the team knowing that they can qualify for the knockouts if they win, the well-oiled German machine could get out of the blocks early against Denmark who could be in for a long afternoon.
In their last two head to head meetings against Germany, Denmark failed to find the back of the net.
The Danish attack looked bleak against Sweden for their first game of the Euros and Germany’s defence is without a doubt a tougher proposition.
This selection came in for both Germany and Denmark in their first game of the tournament and we believe that 7/5 is a fair price for the serial Euros winners to win to nil yet again.
- Germany vs Denmark betting tip 2: Lea Schuller to score anytime @ 4/6
Lea Schuller has been inevitable for Germany in the last few months and with five goals in her last five games, there has been no stopping the Bayern Munich striker.
The 27-year-old kicked off her Euro 2025 campaign with a goal against Poland and there is no doubt that she will be in the heart of the action yet again against Denmark.
Schuller has played once against Denmark in her international career so far, and she managed to find the back of the net at Euro 2022 as Germany dismantled their opposition 4-0.
With 53 goals in 76 games, Schuller has one of the most impressive conversion rates for anyone in women’s football.
Schuller is a 7/1 shot to win the golden boot at the Euros and that could be a good price for the striker should Germany go far in the competition.
Germany & Denmark Euro 2025 odds
After their matchday 1 win against Poland, Germany shortened to 9/2 second favourites for Euro 2025 with the best UK football betting sites as they look to win a ninth title.
Denmark on the other hand remain long-shots at 100/1 to win it all, with qualification unlikely should they lose to Germany on Tuesday.
