Genero Adran League: Cardiff City FC Women beat Swansea City

Cardiff City FC Women defeated defending champions Swansea City 2-0 in the clash of the Genero Adran League’s top two.

Cardiff City FC made it three straight wins with a big 2-0 success over Swansea City, Phoebie Poole getting both goals before the break.

Cardiff Met won a seven-goal thriller at Pontypridd having led 3-0 at half-time, Erin Murray converting two penalties to help lift her side into second place.

Barry’s 3-2 victory at Abergavenny put them third, Mackenzie Olden scoring her second of the game in the 88th minute.

TNS got off the mark when sending Aberystwyth to a 3-0 defeat, Dani Staley with two of their goals.

Swansea University were 3-0 winners at Caldicot, with one apiece for Seren Farrup, Izzie King and Hannah Penney.

Cascade beat wildcard entrants Coed Duon 5-0, with Bethan Lloyd contributing to the tally twice, Rosie Hughes netted five of Wrexham’s six past Llanfair,

Maddie Williams and Ffion Owen bagged braces as Llandudno scored six against Felinheli, Mollie Jones also got a couple in Briton Ferry’s 4-0 defeat of Cardiff Wanderers.

Connah’s Quay Nomads came from behind to win 8-1 at Airbus where Kirstie Kural notched a treble, Candice Nellist and Niomi Taylor hit hat-tricks among Rhyl’s dozen goals at Llangefni.

Giffnock, Westdyke and Edinburgh sides progress in League Cup
