Fylde Manager Luke Swindlehurst commented;
“It is a huge success for us to capture the signing of a quality player such as Kylie. Matt Beard (Boston Head Coach) and I still communicate on a daily basis so it made the process very easy. I’ve watched a lot of Boston this season and the level of fitness out there is unbelievable. They produce footballing athletes and we now have the opportunity to bring in Kylie who is from that top level.
“Her character and quality will be a key ingredient to help us achieve success this season. Kylie will add another dimension to our squad and I’m delighted she has agreed to join ahead of the new season.
“Coming from an elite football environment in America will give us vital experience and of course her mentality is that she wants to win so that is perfect for us here at Fylde.”
Strom added;
“I am so excited and thankful for this opportunity with Fylde. I can’t wait to start this new chapter of my career and look forward to spending the season in England.”
Following the Boston Breakers fixture against Orlando Pride on 31st July, Strom will then fly to England to join up with the Fylde squad.
