Combative, defensive midfielder Rachel Furness has signed a full time contract with Reading Women FC until June 2018.
The 28 year-old, whose two combined spells at the Lady Black Cats exceed a decade, has an impressive 16 goals in 53 international appearances with Northern Ireland.
Reading Manager Kelly Chambers: “Rachel is a brilliant addition to our squad and she brings with her great experience at both WSL1 & international levels. She has always had a big impact in games when we have played against her in the past and I know she will do the same for us. I’m really looking forward to working with her over the coming seasons.”
