WSL players leading the way for Norway
Arguably the most important WSL player called up to the Norway squad this summer is Arsenal’s Frida Maanum, who finished Euro qualifiers as top scorer for the Grasshoppers with seven goals in just seven games.
The midfielder played well in the domestic season this year too, with seven goals for Arsenal in the WSL and two assists in her 22 appearances.
Joining Maanum on the plane to Switzerland will be Manchester United trio Elisabeth Terland, Lisa Naalsund and Celin Bizet Ildhusøy.

Terland joined United on loan at the beginning of the season and had a huge impact on the team, with 10 goals and five assists in just 18 WSL games.
Celin Bizet Ildhusøy was a another who joined Manchester United at the beginning of the 2024/25 campaign and the midfielder was a regular starter for the Red Devils with 22 league appearances.
Bizet played a key role in Euro qualifiers and is expected to start for the Grasshoppers this summer.
Lisa Naalsund was the last United star selected by Gemma Grainger for the Euros this year and the 30-year-old will bring some invaluable experience to the squad, despite not making an international appearance since 2022.
The final English team sending a Norwegian representative to the Euros this summer is Chelsea, with 30-year-old winger Guro Reiten joining up with the squad.
Reiten, who reached 100 appearances for Norway in May, was named in the team of the year last season and with 21 goals for Norway she is sure to have a say this summer as the Grasshoppers bid to win their third European Championship.
