England U-23s were beaten 3-0 by their Swedish counterparts on Saturday 9 June at Sävstaås IP in Bollnäs.

All the goals came in the first half, with Filippa Angeldal opening the scoring with a fine strike on 14 minutes.

Nina Jakobsson doubled the lead with a free header from a corner before the half-hour.

Michelle De Jongh got the third goal 3 minutes short of the interval, returning a half-cleared corner with a header from the edge of the box.

The young Lionesses improved after the break but struggled to get a shot on target, while Sophie Baggaley did well to deny the hosts a fourth goal.
