Manchester City provided evidence that outlined they would not be able to meet the minimum squad quota of 14 for their match due to positive COVID-19 tests and other mitigating circumstances, Arsenal also demonstrated that they would not be able to meet this minimum number for their match with Aston Villa after the club was similarly affected.
Manchester United’s chance to extend their four-point lead over the Gunners was ended when their fixture at Everton became the third top tier postponement, while a win for Chelsea at Reading would send Emma Hayes’ side second.

Championship leaders Leicester City host fourth-placed Sheffield United, Durham are just a point behind the Foxes as they head to Lewes.

London City Lionesses sit goal-difference ahead of Crystal Palace going into their capital clash, while Charlton’s game with Blackburn became the third weekend fixture lost to Covid.
