The results from the first set of tests for COVID-19 carried out across clubs that are back in training in the Barclays FA WSL and FA Women’s Championship have been announced.
From 2 – 11 July 2020 inclusive, 802 tests were carried out and of these, one has returned positive.
The FA state that they will continue to release results each week across both the WSL and Championship.
While the number of tests carried out the previous week, along with the number of positive results from them will again be conveyed, specific details relating to any club, player or staff member will not be communicated.
