Manchester United would hope to remain top for Christmas with the leaders hosting basement side Bristol City, although the Robins did pull off a 1-0 win at Leigh Village last season.

It’s third versus fifth as Arsenal entertain Everton, whom they have defeated in all their nine WSL meetings.

Birmingham City take on a Manchester City side that have found the net in 19 of their last 20 league games.

Reading are two points ahead of hosts Brighton, who are looking to end a run of three home defeats in which they failed to score.

Leicester City lead the Championship table by one point ahead of a tricky trip to Blackburn Rovers, where any slip up would allow Durham or Liverpool to go into the new year in pole position, with those two title-chasers clashing in a noon kick-off.

Fourth-placed Sheffield United face London City Lionesses, while London Bees go head-to-head with Coventry United with both just a point off the bottom.
