Burnley moved up to fourth place in The FA Women’s National League Northern Premier, Watford went third in the Southern Premier.

LEAGUE PLATE 1ST ROUND

Buckland Athletic 1-7 Plymouth Argyle

Burnley got both the goals at Loughborough Foxes, a Sarah Greenhalgh effort added to by Evie Priestley 8 minutes from the end to put them level on points with third-placed Huddersfield Town.

Middlesbrough scored in added-time to take a point from a 3-3 draw at Fylde, who are now one of four teams on nine points in a very tight Northern Premier mid-table.

Yeovil Town came from behind to beat Gilllingham 6-1 with five goals after the interval, two each from Annie Heatherson, Sarah Wiltshire and Laura Williams.

Adekite Fatuga-Dada got a double as Watford defeated Oxford United 5-2 to go third in the Southern Premier, Emily Allen having pulled two goals back for the visitors when 4-0 down.

Portsmouth ran out 7-2 winners at basement side Keynsham Town, where Becki Bath registered a treble.

Plymouth Argyle progressed in the Plate 7-1 at Buckland Athletic but had to overcome an early Sarah Stacey goal from their hosts.
