Second in the FA Women’s National League Northern Premier, Fylde welcome third-placed Wolves for a crucial clash on Sunday.

Nottingham Forest went fourth in the Northern Premier table after Thursday’s 2-0 win at Sheffield FC, where Grace Walters’ first-half goal was added to late on by Sophia Bonser.

Two big clashes in the division on Sunday see Burnley host leaders Derby and Fylde face Wolves in a meeting of second and third.

Oxford United have another chance to eat into Ipswich Town’s lead in the Southern Premier when playing Portsmouth. Pompey go into the game boosted by news that a three-point deduction has been overturned by the league, following new information regarding the penalty for fielding of an ineligible player.

Cardiff City Ladies went goal-difference ahead of Keynsham into ninth place, when defeating their visitors from Somerset 2-1 on Thursday. Kylie Nolan’s opener was cancelled out but Libby Piggott struck the winner.
