FA Women’s National League fixtures this weekend feature all but one of the Cup and Plate quarter-final ties.
The League Cup brings a heavyweight clash of Burnley and Nottingham Forest at the changed venue of Lancaster City FC, while Watford welcome MK Dons and there’s the dockyard derby between Plymouth and Portsmouth. Wolves’ tie with Huddersfield is delayed until 5 February due to FA Cup and County Cup commitments respectively.
In the League Plate, Fylde face Leeds United after a couple of extremely mixed results for the Coasters, there’s an all Division 1 meeting of Hull City and Stourbridge, Crawley Wasps host fellow Southern Premier side Cheltenham Town and Southampton Women play higher level opposition in Billericay Town.
Derby County will look to cut the gap on the Northern Premier Division’s top three when entertaining Stoke City, the bottom four play among themselves with Brighouse versus Boldmere and Loughborough against West Brom.
Ipswich Town will go level with second-placed Portsmouth, should they win on their Southern Premier Division travels to London Bees.
In Division 1 Midlands, Solihull Moors meet Sporting Khalsa in a clash of fourth and fifth, Northampton are up against second-placed Lincoln City.
Middlesbrough, fifth in Division 1 North host leaders Durham Cestria, Barnsley are very much in the title race and home to Norton.
Norwich City and Wimbledon go head-to-head, with the second and third-placed teams in Division 1 South East level on points.
Division 1 South West leaders Cardiff City Ladies have home advantage over Swindon Town in fifth, Selsey take on second-in-the-table Exeter City, Maidenhead meet third-placed Bournemouth.
