Loughborough Foxes are up two places to fourth following a 3-1 win at MK Dons. Becky McGrother put them ahead but Alice Hughes equalised on half time. It wasn’t until the last 10 minutes that Katie McLoughlin fired the Foxes back in front from 25 yards and the same player hit the bar in added time with Laura Dexter burying the rebound.

QPR went down to a 3-1 home defeat against Gillingham, for whom Alice Bussey bagged a brace and Maddison Farrand the Gills’ other goal.

Midlands Division 1 – Wolves win despite Widdall dismissal

Wolves still have another nine points to make up on leaders West Brom after a 4-0 result at TNS. Jade Cross hit a hat-trick, Tammi George also got on the scoresheet but Wanderers had Natalie Widdall sent off after a second caution.

Sporting Khalsa sent third-placed Birmingham & West Midlands to a 2-0 defeat, Chloe May Coldicott and Chloe Handy the scorers.

Northern Division 1 – Late Leeds leveller

Leeds United stay a point short of fourth-placed Barnsley after the all-Yorkshire clash finished 2-2. The Tykes twice led with Sophie Bell nodding in a corner for a half-time lead and a Lissa Woodhouse cross forcing an own-goal on 74 minutes but a United 90th-minute free kick came back off the crossbar and was turned in for a second leveller.

South East Division 1 – Wasps win as Ipswich’s Wakefield frustrates Billericay

Crawley Wasps went seven points clear at the top with all four goals at Actonians, Megan Stow and Charlotte Young scoring before Naomi Cole netted a spot-kick following a foul on Kay Webber, Rachel Palmer later burying a free kick in the second half.

Billericay Town were held 1-1  by Ipswich Town, Esme Lancaster’s effort saw them lead for over 70 minutes but Paige Wakefield’s free kick earned a point for the Tractor Girls.

Leyton Orient climbed two places to third with a 3-1 victory despite being one down at half time away to AFC Wimbledon. Katie Stanley had the Dons ahead but Hannah Porter, Lisa Holmback and Lisa Fulgence replied for the O’s.

Cambridge United got the only goal 5 minutes into the game with Norwich City, with Becky Shephard’s cross turned in by Amy Howlett.

The basement battle saw Luton and Denham draw 1-1 after Zara Carroll’s free kick was met by Rachel Kosky to give the Hatters the lead but United levelled through Meila D’Santos.
