#FAWNL Division 1 fixtures

Cup commitments means it’s an all-Division 1 fixture list, aside from Ipswich Town playing Stevenage for successive Sundays but this time in the FAWNL Plate.

Sunday 2nd December

FA Women’s National League

Midlands Division 1

Bedworth United v Sporting Khalsa (Bedworth Oval)
Burton Albion v The New Saints (Tamworth FC)
Solihull Moors v Birmingham & West Midlands (West Midland Sports & Social Club)

Northern Division 1

Barnsley v Newcastle United (Barnsley FC Academy)
Brighouse Town v Morecambe (Brighouse Town FC)
Norton & Stockton Ancients v Crewe Alexandra (Norton Teesside Sports Complex)

South East Division 1

Actonians v Denham United (Rectory Park, Middlesex FA)

South West Division 1

Larkhall Athletic v Southampton Saints (Larkhall Athletic FC)
Poole Town v Maidenhead United (Dorset FA County Ground)
Swindon Town v Chesham United (Fairford Town FC)

League Plate 3rd Round

Ipswich Town v Stevenage (Felixstowe & Walton FC)

Bedworth will go second ahead of Wolves in the Midlands table if they avoid defeat at home to Sporting Khalsa.
Burton take on TNS with just a point separating them, while Solihull hope to improve on their three points when hosting Birmingham & West Midlands.

Brighouse only need a point against Morecambe to move into second place in the Northern table but just a draw would allow Barnsley to potentially take that position, although the Tykes have a harder match with mid-table Newcastle. After eleven straight defeats, Crewe go to Norton in search of their first points.

The sole game in the South East is a west London derby, as Actonians in seventh play next-to-bottom Denham.

Swindon Town v Chesham are the only side in the top half of the South West table with a game and a point for them at Swindon will lift them to fourth. Larkhall lead visitors Southampton Saints by three points and there’s a basement battle between Poole and a currently winless Maidenhead.

Ipswich and Stevenage have brought forward their Plate tie, despite meeting in the league just last week. The Tractor Girls won that 1-0 away and a repeat will see them through to the quarter-finals.
