Blackburn Rovers 0-6 Liverpool
Charlton Athletic 0-0 Sheffield United

Liverpool extended their lead over second-placed Durham with all six goals of the game at Blackburn Rovers, who remain in tenth spot.

It was just 1-0 at half-time though with a Niamh Fahey header, but Leanne Kiernan then struck an incredible six-minute hat-trick to put the result beyond doubt.

Rachel Furness came off the bench to net with her first touch and completed the scoring in the last minute.

Cumings denies Blades late winner

Charlton Athletic went level on points with fifth-placed Bristol City following a goalless draw at home to Sheffield United, who went above Sunderland into eighth on goals scored.

The Blades needed a couple of crucial late blocks to prevent the Addicks breaking the deadlock but were denied at the death themselves, when Eartha Cumings pushed a header from Courtney Sweetman-Kirk over the bar.
