Rhos 2-3 Barry Town United

Both Ross and Barry had won all their league and cup matches before their clash in which Lauren Harris and Grace Corne struck to give United a 2-0 lead after 16 minutes. But shortly before the break, Emma Cannon made a diving save and Rhos went on the counter attack to pull a goal back. The West Wales then equalised in the second half, only for Harris to fire home from 25 yards to send Barry into the last four.

Corwen 5-0 Rhyl Hearts

A cross-shot from Elisa Williams was deflected in by a Rhyl Hearts defender as Corwen opened the scoring. Heledd Roberts then struck twice for the hosts in a six-minute spell approaching half time. Rhyl’s hopes of a comeback were frustrated by a Sophie King effort being ruled out for offisde. Roberts then completed her hat-trick in style, before Amelia Evans also netted from distance to seal Corwen’s fourth semi-final appearance in eleven years.

Rhydyfelin 5-1 Abergavenny

Rhydyfelin, based near Pontypridd, overcame Abergavenny 5-1, with braces by Jasmine Simpson and Chloe Tiley, plus one from Megan Jones.

Newcastle Emlyn H/W Prestatyn

Newcastle Emlyn had defeated Dafen and Pengelli to get this far but their place in the semi-finals was guaranteed by Prestatyn unfortunately being unable to field a team.
