FA WSL 1
Arsenal Ladies FC 2-0 Doncaster Rovers Belles
Jodie Taylor scored twice on her debut as Arsenal made sure of at least third place and left battling Belles still without a point so far this season.

Manchester City Women 1-1 Birmingham City Ladies
Aoife Mannion had given Blues a 5th minute lead from the penalty spot but the Champions were on level terms early in the second half through Player of the Match Demi Stokes. Birmingham’s keeper Ann-Katrin Berger (and her crossbar) denied City the winner on more than one occasion, as they pressed to finished their season with a win. There weren’t any glum faces at missing out on the three points though as they achieved their aim of going unbeaten in the league (having only conceded four goals, three of which were spot kicks) and were presented with the trophy in the stands at the City Academy.

Chelsea Ladies FC 3-2 Reading FC Women
Chelsea’s oddly topsy-turvy season continued with five goal win against Reading at Staines in the day’s evening kick off. Two Eni Aluko strikes, either side of Ana Borges’ goal gave Chelsea the three points to guarantee second place and Champions League action in 2017 but Lauren Bruton’s penalty and Melissa Fletcher’s late curling effort fo Reading again highlighted Chelsea flimsy defensive line – particularly frustrating because their defensive record was the solid foundation upon which last season’s success had been built. They finish their season up at Notts County mext Sunday and will be looking for better.
FA WSL 2
London Bees 0-2 Yeovil Town Ladies FC
Having impressed up front for Wales, Yeovil Town defender Kayleigh Green got to join the attack at London Bees and it paid off with the first goal in a 2-0 win that sees the Glovers leapfrog Bristol City (on goal difference) into top spot in the WSL2 table. Crucially, it also means they have followed the Vixens in securing a promotion spot to play WSL1 football next spring! Substitute Nadia Lawrence curled in the second and despite understandable scenes of jubilation at the final whistle, both Yeovil and Bristol have their eyes already on next weekend’s games and the ultimate goal, to be champions.

Millwall Lionesses 2-2 Aston Villa Ladies FC
Aston Villa grabbed a late equaliser through a Hannah George header, having twice gone behind to Amber Gaylor and Megan Wynne goals but the visitors stuck to their task and finally converted one of a host of chances to earn a point.
Sheffield FC Ladies 2-1 Oxford United Women
Goals from skipper Carla Ward and also from Rhema Lord-Mears earned Sheffield a home win and secured a solid fifth place finish in their debut WSL season. Nigerian striker Ini-Abasi Umotong was on target for Oxford, her 13th goal of the season, which should see her finish top of the league’s scoring charts, depending on what happens next weekend.
Watford Ladies FC 1-6 Durham Women FC
Durham came from behind after conceding from a penalty after 10 mins, to record their biggest ever victory in the FA WSL. Three goals in four minutes before the break (from Nat Gutteridge, Beth Hepple and Emily Roberts) sent them on their way to victory. A double by Nicola Gibson and a late effort from sub Mercy Darkoah rounded off the romp.
