Girls’ U-16 representatives of North West rivals Liverpool and Manchester United clash this Saturday morning, with a semi-final place in the FA Youth Cup at stake.

Liverpool v Manchester United
Liverpool, who in 2016-17 lost 5-1 in the semi-finals to eventual winners Arsenal, bid to get back into the semi-finals when hosting Manchester United.
Two of the sides who have made the last eight required penalties to get through the previous round. Reading notably won a shoot-out at Chelsea to book a trip to Southampton, while Manchester City edged past visitors Sunderland and now visit Wolves. The Royals had earlier also impressively eliminated the holders 3-0 away from home.
Bristol City have home advantage over Leicester City in the other match.
