Scotland international Erin Cuthbert has committed to three more years at Chelsea FC Women.

Just two games short of a 100 appearances for the Blues, the 22-year-old told chelseafc.com: ‘It means so much to me, I’ve been here three-and-a-half years now and this club feels like home to me. I can’t imagine myself anywhere else and I’m just happy to get the deal over the line.’

General manager Paul Green added: ‘We think Erin is one of the best young players in the world and we’re delighted that she’s extended her contract.

‘Erin’s been developing very well since she’s been at the club, improving each year and we’re lucky to have her. We look forward to working with her for many years to come and seeing how her career continues to flourish.’

Cuthbert continued: ‘The level in training has gone up another level again so it’s going to be really tough to get in the team and stay in the team. But that’s going to drive our standards forward and hopefully it’s going to be enough to get us over the line this year.

‘I want the Treble, but that includes the Champions League so I think I have to say the Quadruple.’
